Therapeutic AntiGravity Aerial Yoga at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay

A prestigious player in Bahrain’s luxury game, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, has unveiled a unique addition to its wellness offering at The Spa: AntiGravity Aerial Yoga, a brilliant alternative for mental and physical health founded by Christopher Harrison.

Made available to all guests and spa members, the luxury property has assigned a natural light filled yoga room within its unisex fitness facilities, which is purely dedicated to AntiGravity Arts.

Therapeutic AntiGravity Fitness techniques, suitable for those aged 16 and above of all abilities and body types, utilise a silk hammock, allowing for participants to experience yoga in a three-dimensional form.  Slightly suspended above the ground, AntiGravity Fitness offers relief to the body and facilitates the practice of zero-compression inverted postures.

Harrison commented on the launch of AntiGravity Aerial Yoga at the luxury property:  “I am elated to be able to give the people in the Middle East who either live in or travel to Bahrain the ability to feel the freedom of flight. One’s true wealth is their health and AntiGravity techniques live up to the promise of anti-aging through recalibration of both body and mind.”

Meanwhile, director, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, Chandarella Luzon enthused: “AntiGravity Yoga is a great addition to our spa and fitness offerings allowing our guests to experience a whole new level of yoga, strength and flexibility training at their own pace. It is a unique yet effective fitness activity that entails mind, body and inner connection focusing on breathing, core strength and balance.

“Our Spa will continue to introduce different aspects of traditional, holistic and innovative forms of wellness treatments and fitness activities that will surely help guests achieve balance, relaxation and complete well-being,” Luzon concluded.

Guests and spa members at the hotel are granted the opportunity to partake this one-of-a-kind activity complete with complimentary introductory classes.
