Etihad Airways unveils First Class Lounge & Spa at Abu Dhabi International

The perfect option for elite travellers wishing to pamper themselves and unwind before a flight, Etihad Airways has officially launched its flagship First Class Lounge & Spa at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 3, which boasts an ultra-luxurious Six Senses Spa.

Ensuring impeccable service, the freshly launched facility is inspired by prestigious hotels, private members’ clubs and fine dining establishments, and features incomparable design, style and comfort. 

“Our new First Class Lounge & Spa is the jewel in the crown of our new lounge offerings worldwide and represents the best of our home city of Abu Dhabi. It is a showcase of intelligent product design, innovation, ‎and superlative hospitality and service,” said Peter Baumgartner, CEO, Etihad Airways.

This is not just a lounge but the ultimate airline hospitality experience and one which perfectly mirrors Etihad Airways’ evolution into the best airline in the world.

Upscale travellers can make the most of 16 differing zones including an à la carte restaurant serving delectable cuisine, the showcase bar, fitness room, a cigar lounge, Style & Shave barbers, a nail bar, a TV room, a secluded relaxation room, a prayer room and children’s play room, as well as the blissful Six Senses Spa.

Covering approximately 1,700m², First Class Lounge & Spa is open round-the-clock for the exclusive use of guests of The Residence, Etihad First Class, Etihad Guest Exclusive, Etihad Guest Platinum members (plus one guest), Etihad Airways Partner (EAP) airline First Class guests, EAP ‘Invitation only’ members (plus two guests) and EAP equivalent Platinum members (plus one guest).

First Class Lounge & Spa guests will be catered to by a number of expertly trained staff including a general manager, concierge, maître d’hotel, Savoy-trained butlers, chefs and mixologists.

Guaranteeing an ultra-exclusive experience, guests of The Residence will be accommodated in their own private space, discreetly located adjacent to the main lounge entrance. The private area will boast a dedicated Savoy-trained butler, custom-made Poltrona Frau Italian leather armchairs and sofas, its own shower room stocked with a range of Acqua di Parma products, a prayer room and private dining.
