Stylish Mandarin Oriental, Doha graces Qatar’s hotel scene

Marking the start of something beautiful in Qatar’s hospitality industry, the incredibly stylish and highly anticipated Mandarin Oriental Doha opened its doors for business this week.

The new high-end property presents discerning travellers with a chic urban hospitality option in Msheireb Downtown Doha – a new destination for leisure, living and business in the heart of the buzzing city.

The highly-acclaimed David Collins Studio has found the perfect balance of old and new, with the property’s spacious guest rooms, suites and serviced apartments boasting a modern design infused with the most charming elements of Qatari culture and heritage. 

Food connoisseurs will be delighted to hear that the sparkling new hotel boasts nine restaurants and bars, including IZU by Chef Izu Ani, Mosaic, a Mandarin Lounge, the Baraha Lounge, Gelato and Ambar. Three further dining outlets will be joining the portfolio later on in the year, including a Chinese restaurant, a cake shop and a rooftop alfresco restaurant lounge.

As for facilities, wellness enthusiasts can pamper themselves at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Doha, which features six treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, two VIP suites, heat and water experiences and a state-of-the-art Fitness & Wellness Centre. 

Adding to this, two rooftop pools with private cabanas await guests, as well as a ballroom equipped to seat up to 400 guests for banquets and seven additional functions rooms.
