Middle East welcomes affluent EDITION brand to its hospitality industry

The very first EDITION-branded jewel has arrived on the Middle East’s ever-blossoming hospitality scene, gracing the landmark Bloom Marina mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi. 

EDITION Hotels, an opulent boutique hotel brand, is developed by acclaimed American hotelier and real estate developer, Ian Schrager, in collaboration with Marriott International. The one-of-a-kind brand boasts a promising portfolio of eight hotels, with a further 30 in the pipeline. 

The Abu Dhabi EDITION brings to the region the finest hotel concept, offering the ultimate elevated experiences in design, food, amenities and entertainment. 

With 198 guest rooms, suites and 57 exclusive residences, every aspect of the traditional hotel has been transformed to create a sense of superior warmth for guests. 

Anticipating the changing needs and desires of the modern traveller, The Abu Dhabi EDITION offers a distinctive, upscale environment, encompassing innovative design while concurrently staying true to the lifestyle and traditions of Emirati culture.

Locally inspired patterns, colour palettes, materials and other intricate details in the property’s architecture are testament to its authenticity as a regional gem.

The Abu Dhabi EDITION features three award-winning restaurants created by world renowned chef Tom Aikens, famed for being the youngest chef to ever have been awarded two Michelin stars. These are inclusive of Market at EDITION, an imaginative, healthy lifestyle restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Oak Room, a traditional English oak paneled steakhouse, celebrating world-class ingredients with British rock ‘n’ roll flair; and Alba Terrace, a serene, coastal Mediterranean-style restaurant that offers the finest locally sourced coffee and light lunches. Furthermore, the hotel comprises an international gourmet market, a lobby bar, a pool bar and a three-story ANNEX, which is opening soon.  

The state-of-the-art EDITION Spa, opening this month, will be the beaming star of the property, consisting of seven treatment rooms including two Hammams, a facial room and couples’ treatment suite. 

Abu Dhabi EDITION also offers two purpose-built gyms and two beautifully white-tiled swimming pools, one connecting to the main hotel and the other in the private residences, as well as over 900m2 of meeting and event space, including several meeting rooms, ballrooms and boardrooms.

The hotel is within 20 minutes from The Louvre Abu Dhabi and the beaches of Saadiyat, and just 35 minutes from Yas Island.
