Illustrious Mysk by Shaza brand to arrive in Saudi Arabia in 2021

Renowned for its excellent portfolio of properties, Shaza Hotels has settled a management agreement with Sheikh Sultan Al Harthi for the operation of the KSA’s premier Mysk by Shaza-branded property – Mysk Jeddah.

The luxurious hotel will be ideally situated on Heraa street, within close proximity to the buzzing Jeddah Corniche.

Slated to open its gilded gates in 2021, Mysk Jeddah comprises all the facilities of a world-class hotel, inclusive of a sumptuous restaurant and café, meeting rooms for corporate guests, a kids’ club, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a glistening rooftop pool.

President and CEO, Shaza Hotels, Simon Coombs remarked: “The tourism landscape in the KSA is changing rapidly due to the various government initiatives being put in place to boost the number of arrivals into the country. New destinations are being created and a new generation of hotels is entering Saudi Arabia.

“Mysk Jeddah is one of them, catering to the evolving needs of the Saudi tourism sector where discerning guests are seeking a more personalised experience aligned with their lifestyle. We are very grateful to Sheikh Sultan Al Harthi for having entrusted us with the management of Mysk Jeddah and we are confident that this Mysk will become the new sought-after address in Jeddah,” he concluded.

Mysk Jeddah marks the illustrious brand’s seventh hospitality venture, the first being the award-winning Mysk by Shaza Al Mouj in Muscat, while the next hotels to open are three Mysk retreats that are part of the Sharjah Collection.

Concurrently, two other Mysk properties are under development on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and in Kuwait. They are scheduled to open by Q4 of 2019 and 2020 respectively. Mysk has received considerable attention from the investment community in the KSA and various other opportunities are under discussion in Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh and Al Khobar.
