Hilton to elevate Egypt’s luxury hospitality market

Hilton has made headlines across the globe with the signing of not one, but two management agreements with Gulf Egypt for Hotels & Tourism, for the opulent Heliopolis Hotels & Towers Luxury Hotel complex, which will be operated under two distinguished brands.

The first project, Hilton Cairo Heliopolis, home to 593 beautifully appointed rooms, is now embracing its first guests, while the second is the 247-key Towers Luxury Hotel, which will eventually transform into Waldorf Astoria Cairo following renovation works that are scheduled to conclude at the end of the year.

Each of the 247 rooms of the Towers Luxury Hotel will be revitalised under a tailored design concept, emanating the finest elements of Egyptian hospitality. The atrium lobby area will also receive its very own makeover, while a lavish destination spa will make for an exceptional addition to the facilities.

Waldorf Astoria Cairo’s personal concierges will guarantee that all guests receive the utmost bespoke services before, during and after their stay.

Delighted with the project was Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Hilton, who said: “We are beginning 2018 in style by launching our Waldorf Astoria brand in Africa and making Hilton Cairo Heliopolis our sixth hotel in the Egyptian capital. We are working with great partners, Gulf-Egypt for Hotels & Tourism, and we look forward to great success with these two hotels which give our customers a new and convenient option just 4 km away from Cairo airport and close to New Cairo.”

Also commenting on the development was Mohsen Abu Al Azm, managing director, Gulf-Egypt for Hotels & Tourism: “We are delighted to be partnering with Hilton to manage these two landmark properties. With an array of world-class facilities and offerings, the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis and the soon-to-open Waldorf Astoria will set the standard for accommodation in Cairo and across the region. Hilton brings nearly 100 years of experience to these hotels and their international reputation for service, quality and excellence will ensure the continued success of these great hotels.”
