Culinary royalty to debut at highly anticipated Mondrian Doha

The long-awaited Mondrian Doha is pushing all culinary boundaries, having announced that it will be embracing two world-renowned restaurants as part of its exceptional F&B portfolio.

Celebrity chef, Wolfgang Puck will open the ever-popular steak restaurant, CUT, while Japanese Master Chef Masaharu Marimoto will introduce the very first Marimoto outpost in the Middle East. 

Simon John Winchester, executive chef, Mondrian Doha, expressed his excitement: “We are ecstatic to introduce these two establishments to Doha for the first time. Both CUT and Morimoto fit perfectly into the Mondrian ethos of international allure. These restaurants also perfectly complement our other international and local culinary offerings. We look forward to welcoming guests to CUT and Morimoto soon.”

Exude pure elegance in its design, CUT is a classic steakhouse with a modern touch. The menu will comprise of the very finest beef from around the world, as well as a delectable choice of shellfish, seafood, pastas and wooden oven pizzas. 

Clean white elements and hues drawn from the gorgeous Qatari sunset will be incorporated into its design.  

Meanwhile, the unique Marimoto Doha will bring the much-needed Japanese flair to Doha’s culinary scene. It will serve the most unusually divine combination of Japanese and American cuisine.

The presentation of the food will include Chef Marimoto’s signature concepts, as demonstrated in his mega-popular TV show, Iron Chef. With the finest ingredients hailing from Japan, Qatar and around the world, Marimoto will create an East-meets-West culinary adventure for customers, with dishes including fresh sushi and seafood, traditional elements such as Teppanyaki nourishing hot pots and a variety of Japanese favourites. 

Morimoto and CUT are to be joined by six other top notch F&B outlets, each designed by Marcel Wanders and all offering an epicurean experience set to innovate and reshape Qatar’s dining scene.
