Creativity of ME Dubai unveiled following inspiring renderings

Bringing the artisanal vision of ME Dubai to light, real estate developer, Omniyat and Meliá Hotels International have released awe-inspiring renderings of the Middle East’s very first ME hotel, meticulously designed by world-renowned and prestigious architect, Zaha Hadid.


Located in Burj Khalifa District, The Opus is set to comprise of stunning signature furniture, either designed or selected by Hadid, which will serve to amplify the artistic flair of the property. The newly released renderings shed light on the elegant and ornamental ambience that will dominate the ME Dubai lobby, the vertical café, the lounges and the reception area.

“You always expect to be surprised by Zaha Hadid’s designs, but the renderings for the Opus building and ME Dubai go beyond what we could ever have anticipated,” Gabriel Escarrer, CEO, Meliá Hotels International enthused.

Alongside the unique Aura Service offered by the ME brand and the Michelin star restaurants and bars in the property, there is no doubt that ME Dubai will raise the bar for Dubai’s hotel supply.

Also commenting was Mahdi Amjad, executive chairman, Omniyat, who elucidated: “The renderings convey the exclusivity of this hotel that will feature Michelin star F&B outlets spread across an area of 23,225m². Zaha has put a great deal of creativity that will be appreciated by people who admire art, luxury and exclusivity.”

The first of its kind in the Middle East, ME Dubai, slated for 2016, will house 100 exclusive rooms, including four penthouses with private roof terraces and the brand’s signature ‘Suite ME’.
