AccorHotels’ luxury SO/ brand to spread wings across Middle East

AccorHotels is bringing its illustrious SO/ brand to the Middle East and will be marking this exciting debut with the opening of SO/ Uptown Dubai in late 2020. 

The ever-so-artistic and aesthetically imaginative property will reflect the emirate’s urban charm, with invigorating designs coursing through its 188 rooms and 215 branded residences. 

The ground-breaking news was revealed at a recent signing ceremony between AccorHotels and its development partner, DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre).

“Dubai is the perfect destination to launch one of our most sought-after luxury lifestyle brands, SO/, through our debut partnership with DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre),” illustrated Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman, DMCC. “DMCC is excited to be the ‘first to say SO/’ by bringing the debut SO/ in the Middle East to our first super-tall tower in Uptown Dubai, in partnership with AccorHotels. SO/ is a bold and innovative brand, much like the spirit of Dubai and DMCC’s Uptown Dubai district.”

An array of first-class amenities will await guests upon the opening of SO/ Uptown Dubai, including the MIXO lounge bar, HI-SO bar, a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant and Sky Bar & Lounge; a reimagined meeting hub, including a ballroom, board room, business centre and pre-function space for corporate and social events; as well as a 1,400m2 SO/ SPA and a SO/ FIT fitness centre and health club.
