Spring 2019

Welcome to the Spring 2019 issue of ttgmena luxury. As the new spring seasons brings with it a mood of growth and evolution which is rippling out into the luxury hospitality industry, the ttgmena luxury team invites you to take a moment to take stock of the year gone by and look forward at the year ahead as you read through the articles and features of our new Spring 2019 issue. We’ve put together a collection of news, views, trends and opinions from the MENA region and further afield, looking particularly at personalisation as an emerging influential trend and benchmark to define the ‘new’ luxury across the board for 2019. In keeping with the trends of the year ahead, our Spring 2019 issue of ttgmena luxury explores the importance of customising the experience for the luxury traveller to the Levant region on page 12. We talk to Sir Rocco Forte, CEO and founder of the eponymous Rocco Forte Hotels group, about brand expansion, service standards and the family value’s which his company has built its foundation on. On page 22, we look at how personalisation marks a new era for family travel, where multi-generational and Skip-Gen trips are proving increasingly popular and individual needs must be met. Two key leaders from the luxury hospitality F&B sector share their individual insights with us on page 24, while on page 26, we travel across the world to the mysteriously seductive and vibrantly diverse region of Asia, where local luxury providers are aiming to tailor-make experiences to suit the needs of emerging markets.  This issue we also take a high-end tour of California, taking in the Golden State’s most anticipated openings for 2019, and living the high-life in a destination so rich and varied. So, think what personalisation means to you and your business as you flip through the pages of this latest Spring 2019 issue of ttgmena luxury.
